Technical Engineer I

As a Technical Consultant (TC) working with the implementation team, your main responsibility will be to deliver implementation and consulting to projects in order to achieve successful on-time projects with client satisfaction. You will be developing C#, PL/SQL code, and Telerik reports to support client projects within the Clinisys Laboratory Solutions (CLS) LIMS platform. Key Responsibilities: - Develop custom code using PL/SQL to query and execute functions within the CLS LIMS platform based on details provided by team members or clients. - Configure reports using Telerik Report Writer to be generated within the CLS LIMS platform according to provided details. - Perform alpha testing on the developed work to ensure it meets requirements and functions properly within the CLS platform. - Demonstrate completed work to internal team members or clients as necessary. - Gain a strong understanding of the CLS functionality and data model to provide guidance to team members on project goals within the platform. - Provide input for process improvements by monitoring client and departmental feedback. - Maintain a high level of commitment to superior customer satisfaction throughout the customer relationship. - Resolve project issues promptly or escalate to senior staff when necessary. - Collaborate with and mentor other Technical Consultants and Professional Services Consultants to enhance product knowledge. - Organize and prioritize project tasks effectively to ensure timely completion. - Perform other assigned tasks as needed. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Healthcare, Chemistry/Biology, Life Sciences/Pharma, Forensics/Toxicology, or related field, or equivalent work experience. - 3+ years of experience working with a LIS or LIMS system. - 3+ years of experience with PL/SQL query writing, preferably in Oracle DB. - 3+ years of experience with C# programming. - 3+ years of experience developing LIS/LIMS reports using a common report writing tool (e.g., Crystal Reports, SSRS, etc.). Preferred Experience & Education: - 3+ years of experience developing reports using Telerik report designer. - 3+ years of experience with Horizon LIMS, particularly as a LIMS administrator. - 3-5 years of experience in a LIMS/LIS implementation environment. - 3+ years of experience with API/Interfaces (HL7). In addition to the technical aspects, you will be required to work independently, effectively manage project priorities, possess strong communication and presentation skills, demonstrate analytical and problem-solving abilities, and provide mentoring and consultation to improve workflow processes and procedures. Please note that this is a permanent role with a five-day workweek covering core UK hours from Monday to Friday, with shifts for India from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST. Travel of up to 25% may be required, and you may need to adhere to specific health and safety requirements when visiting client sites.,
