As an Assistant Manager in the Design Department based in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the design and detailing process for various interior fit-out projects. Your responsibilities will include planning, interpreting, and organizing technical design documentation, collaborating with senior team members and site teams to address design issues, and coordinating with Project Managers and Consultants for design implementation. You will also be involved in preparing and reviewing drawings for builder submissions and Good for Construction (GFC) documentation, supporting the project team with design updates during execution, and reviewing shop drawings and technical submittals. To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding of design standards, local by-laws, and technical codes related to interior fit-outs. You must be able to effectively manage your time in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate a proactive and eager-to-learn attitude, and work independently with moderate supervision. Occasional travel to project sites may be required. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is essential, and experience with Revit is a plus. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of experience in corporate/commercial workplace interior fit-outs, with exposure to Construction & Installation (C&I) drawings and detailing. The qualifications required for this position include a Bachelors's degree in Architecture, a Degree in Interior design, or an equivalent qualification.
