Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Instructor / Teaching Assistant for the Department of Foundry Technology at PSG Polytechnic College. The ideal candidate will support departmental projects, assist in handling laboratory classes, and contribute to practical skill-building for students through hands-on technical learning and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and assist with projects undertaken by the Department of Foundry Technology.
• Conduct and support laboratory classes, ensuring smooth execution of practical sessions.
• Guide students in understanding foundry operations, tools, equipment, and safety practices.
• Maintain lab equipment, tools, and materials in proper working condition.
• Assist faculty in preparing lab manuals, project documentation, and instructional materials.
• Provide technical support during demonstrations, experiments, and industrial practice sessions.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures within the lab.
• Support the department in organizing workshops, training programs, and industrial visits.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Strong understanding of basic mechanical engineering principles.
• Interest or foundational knowledge in foundry technology, metallurgy, or production processes.
• Good practical skills and hands-on technical aptitude.
• Ability to support students in laboratory environments with patience and clarity.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
