Technical Artist Intern

Job Description: As a Technical Artist Intern at Electronic Arts, you will play a crucial role as a bridge between Artists and Programmers in creating cutting-edge games that captivate players worldwide. Roles and Responsibilities: - Demonstrate a strong understanding of technical art, including knowledge of engines and art pipelines. - Create animations and effects for games using Particle Designer or After Effects. - Proficiency in Photoshop, Maya, and Unity. - Basic understanding of the Production Pipeline. - Proactively identify technical constraints and develop innovative solutions through new tools. - Familiarity with asset compression and optimization for various platforms such as Unity and Cocos2D. - Develop tools and techniques to enhance the art pipeline. - Collaborate with designers and engineers to implement new features and achieve artistic vision. - Possess a balance of artistic creativity and technical workflows. Requirements: - Solid technical foundation in at least one programming/scripting language such as Python, C#, or JavaScript. - Strong problem-solving skills in a game development environment. - Utilize AI tools effectively for streamlined solutions. - Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently or in a team, and achieve objectives without constant supervision. - Effective time management skills to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
