Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced .NET Architect with 10+ years experience to lead the modernization of our legacy 2-tier application by redesigning it into a scalable and maintainable 3-tier architecture . The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in .NET technologies, architectural design principles, and experience with enterprise application migration and modernization. Key Responsibilities: Analyze the existing 2-tier architecture (UI + DB) to identify limitations and opportunities for enhancement. Design and implement a robust 3-tier architecture (Presentation Layer, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer). Define architectural patterns, guidelines, and best practices for the migration. Lead the reengineering of application components to separate concerns (UI, logic, data). Collaborate with developers, DBAs, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth migration and deployment. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams. Ensure performance, security, scalability, and maintainability of the new architecture. Develop and maintain architecture documentation and diagrams. Introduce appropriate tools and technologies (e.g., .NET Core, Entity Framework, REST APIs). Conduct code and design reviews. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a .NET Architect or Senior Developer with architectural responsibilities. Strong expertise in .NET Core / .NET Framework , C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API. Deep understanding of software architectural patterns (3-tier, N-tier, microservices). Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs. Strong experience in Entity Framework , SQL Server, and data modeling. Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript frameworks like Angular/React – optional but preferred). Experience with Azure or AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience migrating legacy systems or monolithic applications. Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and modern deployment models. Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture.
