Job Description

This role involves managing both the current platform, ensuring seamless functionality and performance, and spearheading the development of the next-generation learning platform

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in open-source technologies, large-scale distributed architectures, microservices, reactive programming, and database management

Experience in the learning domain and familiarity with open-source software is a significant advantage

Key Responsibilities:- Architect and design scalable, high-performance solutions

- Provide leadership in designing and implementing large-scale distributed architectures and microservices

- Leverage expertise in PHP, Java, Angular, NodeJS, Python, and modern front-end and back-end technologies

- Drive the adoption of design patterns, reactive programming paradigms, and industry best practices

- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust architectural designs

- Manage and optimize transactional databases and NoSQL databases, including Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and Neo4j

- Integrate JavaScript frameworks (eg, AngularJS, Backbone, Twitter Bootstrap) into the system architecture

- Utilize the AKKA and Play Framework for building reactive applications

- Champion DevOps practices, including CI\/CD pipelines and cloud integration, with a focus on OCI Cloud and Kafka

- Advocate for Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to ensure code quality and reliability

- Offer expertise in Moodle and ERPNext architecture to support broader educational technology initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements:- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field(BE\/BTech\/MCA preferred)- Experience: 12-15 years of experience in software development and architecture, with a focus on large-scale platforms

- Proficiency in open-source technologies and frameworks, with a strong understanding of learning platforms

- In-depth knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and reactive application frameworks
