Technical Architect

You should have at least 10+ years of experience in enterprise wireless & wired network design and implementation. You will be required to work from the office in Bangalore/Pune with the shift timing from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST. Your key responsibilities will include designing enterprise-grade wireless network solutions for retail and office environments. You will need to develop high-density wireless network designs considering coverage, capacity, and interference mitigation strategies. Experience in wireless surveys using tools like Ekahau or AirMagnet will be necessary to ensure optimal AP placements. You should ensure compliance with customer technology standards, security guidelines, and wireless policies. Furthermore, providing recommendations for AP positioning, RF tuning, channel planning, and optimal antenna selection based on floor challenges will be essential. Designing highly available and scalable LAN/WLAN architectures integrating Meraki & Juniper Wireless is also part of your responsibilities. You will be expected to provide design expertise and hands-on support for Juniper & Meraki switch configurations, VLANs, routing, and QoS policies. Collaborating with teams handling switch refresh projects & new builds across sites and assisting in the integration of wireless infrastructure with Cisco & Juniper switching fabric are also key responsibilities. Project coordination & stakeholder collaboration are crucial aspects of this role. You will work closely with project managers, vendors, and customer IT teams to drive seamless execution. Participation in change control and governance processes to align wireless deployments with project timelines and troubleshooting and resolving complex wireless issues across multiple sites will be part of your duties. The required skills & experience include: - 8+ years of experience in enterprise wireless & wired network design and implementation. - Deep expertise in Meraki Wireless or Juniper Wireless solutions. - Advanced knowledge of Meraki or Juniper switches, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and QoS best practices. - Proficiency in RF design principles, antenna selection, AP placement, and interference mitigation. - Expertise in RF tuning, channel planning, 802.11 protocols, and wireless QoS. - Hands-on experience in wireless security mechanisms (WPA2/3, 802.1X, RADIUS, EAP-TLS). - Understanding of wireless performance troubleshooting using Meraki Controller or Juniper Mist AI. The skill matrix required for this position includes proficiency in wireless technologies, Cisco Meraki Wireless Design, Juniper Mist Wireless Design, Ekahau Wireless Planning, LAN Switching Design, Cloud-managed Wireless, Wireless Security, RF Troubleshooting & Optimization, Documentation & HLD/LLD Writing, Project Experience, and Communication & Customer Interaction. Certifications such as Meraki CMNA, Mist AI Certification, CWNA/CWDP, and JNCIA-MistAI are preferred but not mandatory.,
