Technical Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Technical Leadership:Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers, and stake holders.
• Drive the development and implementation of enterprise computing strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Providing technical expertise and guidance on VMWare, Server, storage architecture, configuration, optimization and MOVEit - FTP.
• 2. Infrastructure Management:Oversee the management of enterprise computing infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud services (Azure/GCP).
• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of enterprise systems.
• Monitoring and optimizing storage systems to meet performance and capacity requirements.
• Troubleshooting of Storage devices. HP/NetApp/EMC- Power Store, Power Scale/Isilon, Compellent.
• Evaluating new products and features to recommend enhancements or upgrades.
• Troubleshooting VMware issues related to storage, network, and performance issues.
• Windows 2003/2008/2008 R2/2012/2016/2022 Server support and troubleshooting.
• 3. Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, security, and business stakeholders, to define and deliver enterprise computing solutions.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and recommendations.
• 4. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:Lead the resolution of complex technical issues and incidents related to enterprise computing.
• Establish and maintain effective incident response and recovery procedures.

• 5. Performance Optimization:Monitor and analyse system performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Implement strategies to enhance the performance and efficiency of enterprise computing environments.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing enterprise-level computing projects.
• Strong expertise in system architecture, design, and implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise computing technologies, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a technical team.
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
