As a UI/UX Designer at Skeps, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define the product vision, user flows, and design strategies. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design delivery, from conducting user research to creating high-fidelity UI designs and handoff processes. Your role will involve leading the development of wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and interaction models for new features and product enhancements. In this role, you will conduct in-depth user research, usability testing, and data-driven evaluations to uncover insights that will inform your design decisions. You will also be tasked with establishing, evolving, and maintaining design systems and component libraries to ensure scalability and consistency across various products and platforms. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback, sharing best practices, and driving design excellence within the team. As a UI/UX Designer at Skeps, you will advocate for and embed user-centric design principles within the product lifecycle and decision-making processes. You will stay updated with emerging design trends, industry standards, and new technologies to influence Skeps" product design strategy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure design feasibility, technical alignment, and smooth implementation of designs. You will iterate on designs based on qualitative feedback and quantitative performance metrics to continuously improve the user experience. To be successful in this role, you should have 5-7 years of progressive experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work. Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, MarvelApp, Photoshop, and Illustrator is required. You should also possess a strong grounding in UX research, persona development, and usability testing. Experience in building and maintaining design systems at scale, along with strong visual design skills, attention to typography, color, and layout are important. Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary to influence stakeholders and articulate design rationale effectively. You should be able to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints efficiently. A collaborative mindset, passion for mentorship, and team growth are highly valued in this role. Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices is a plus.
