As a Senior Product Manager on the Firewall team at Cisco Systems, Inc., you will collaborate with various stakeholders such as Customers, User Experience and Design, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and other Product Managers to drive Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) adoption for our Firewall portfolio. Your role will involve problem discovery, user story refinement, and delivering solutions that cater to customer needs. You will devise the MSSP vision and strategies, prioritize features, and work closely with the Product Management team to create a roadmap that offers differentiated Network Security outcomes to MSSPs. Additionally, you will be responsible for writing Product Requirements Documents, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and enhancing existing workflows and processes to ensure optimal product delivery. To excel in this role, you should possess strong technical acuity and be comfortable with networking and security technologies. A keen sense of product management, curiosity, ownership, effective communication skills, and a proactive attitude are essential attributes. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Network Security or related technologies, along with 6+ years of Product Management experience in an agile environment within the security, infrastructure, networking, or related software field. A background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or an MBA is preferred. Furthermore, a passion for data-driven decision-making, customer empathy, and the ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences are key qualities we are looking for in a candidate.
