TechLead Backend Developer - GoLang

What the job involves

You'll be joining a fast-growing, motivated, and talented team of engineers who are building innovative products that are transforming the mobile marketing industry. Our solutions enable clients to measure the effectiveness of their campaigns in novel and impactful ways.

Working closely with our existing team of software engineers, you will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our product suite. This includes adding new features to existing systems and helping to develop new systems that support upcoming product offerings.

Backend Technical Lead

Operational excellence is also a part of this role.

Who you are

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience

  , including

  4+ years with Golang

  , focused on building high-performance backend systems.

• Hands-on experience

  with messaging platforms such as

  Apache Pulsar

  ,

  NATS JetStream

  ,

  Kafka

  , or similar pub/sub or streaming technologies.

• Strong knowledge of observability practices

  , including instrumentation,

  OpenTelemetry

  ,

  Prometheus

  ,

  Grafana

  , logging pipelines (e.g.,

  Loki

  ,

  ELK stack

  ), and

  distributed tracing

  .
• Proficient in

  REST API development

  ,

  goroutines

  , and

  Go concurrency patterns

  .

• Deep understanding

  of

  microservices architecture

  and containerized deployments using

  Docker

  and

  Kubernetes

  .
• Experience with cloud platforms such as

  GCP

  ,

  AWS

  , or

  Azure

  .
• Strong database skills:

  MySQL

  (mandatory), with additional exposure with additional exposure to

  Distributed databases (e.g., Spanner)

• Proven ability to

  optimize applications

  for maximum

  performance and scalability

  .
• Solid experience in

  maintaining production systems

  , with the ability to

  quickly debug and resolve issues

  both during development and in live environments.

Optional Skills:

• Understanding of

  adtech

  , programmatic advertising, or mobile attribution systems.
• Experience using AI tools

  (e.g., GitHub Copilot and Claude Code)

  to assist development.
