You will monitor system health using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Nagios, troubleshoot issues, and proactively enhance system performance. Furthermore, you will establish and refine SRE best practices, implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment, and conduct root cause analysis for incidents. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role. Strong expertise in Linux administration is required, and knowledge of Windows is a plus. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is essential, as well as proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. You should possess scripting and automation skills in languages like Python or Bash, expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration tools, and experience with monitoring and logging tools.
