As a Senior Data Scientist/AI Engineer - Vice President at Barclays, you will play a key role in shaping the future by spearheading the evolution of the Risk function within the Global Operational Risk and Risk Oversight team. Your primary focus will be on developing data-driven capabilities and insights to enhance Operational Risk oversight through the utilization of modern technologies such as Machine Learning Models, AI solutions, and Analytical techniques. Additionally, having domain knowledge in tech risk and cyber risk, experience with Spark, and working with large volumes of data sets from multiple sources will be advantageous. Skills such as developing AI Agents using products like Microsoft Co-pilot Studio, implementing industry-leading models, and demonstrating expertise in risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, and strategic thinking will also be highly valued. In this role, you will be expected to leverage innovative data analytics and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from the bank's data reserves. These insights will be used to inform strategic decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organization.
