Tech Lead - React.js

As a Tech Lead specializing in React, you will play a crucial role in shaping the frontend architecture and strategy for React/Next.js applications. Your responsibilities will include defining frontend architecture, establishing design systems and reusable component libraries, leading the adoption of modern build tools, ensuring pixel-perfect UI implementation, managing AI-powered developer workflows, driving consistency across teams, providing guidance on various frontend and backend integration strategies, and mentoring senior and mid-level engineers to scale their technical leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Define frontend architecture and strategy for React/Next.js applications. - Establish and maintain design systems, reusable component libraries, and Storybook documentation. - Lead adoption of modern build tools (Vite, Turbopack, NX) for performance and scalability. - Ensure pixel-perfect UI implementation from Figma designs, enforcing accessibility (WCAG) and responsive principles. - Introduce and manage AI-powered developer workflows (automated testing, code review, design-to-code pipelines). - Drive consistency across teams by setting up frontend coding standards, linting rules, and architectural patterns. - Provide guidance on SSR, SSG, caching, micro-frontends, and performance tuning. - Lead integration strategies across frontend and backend (Node.js, GraphQL, REST, MongoDB). - Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, scaling their technical leadership. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of professional experience in frontend-heavy full-stack development. - Mastery in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, state management, and performance optimization. - Strong backend knowledge in Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB. - Proven experience in building and scaling design systems and enterprise-grade UI frameworks. - Hands-on experience with Figma handoff, Storybook, and design-driven workflows. - Familiarity with Vite, Turbopack, Webpack, NX monorepos. - Strong grasp of AI-assisted development tools and their integration into SDLC. - Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, frontend testing frameworks, and DevOps best practices. - Prior experience in leading 510 engineer teams and architecting large-scale projects. Preferred Skills: - Experience in micro-frontends, federated modules, and distributed architectures. - Knowledge of GraphQL federation and API design patterns. - Cloud-native frontend deployments (AWS Amplify, Vercel, Netlify). - Involvement in open-source contributions, POCs, or internal accelerators.
