Role Overview: As a Senior Tech Lead cum Backend Developer at our small startup, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance web applications. Your primary responsibilities will include defining architectures, making technical decisions, mentoring development teams, and ensuring project success aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: - Define, design, and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures for full-stack JavaScript applications. - Lead the technical design of APIs, data models, microservices, and front-end architectures. - Evaluate and recommend modern tools, libraries, and frameworks suitable for business needs. - Write clean, modular, and high-quality code for both front-end and back-end systems. - Drive the implementation of best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and automation. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to build CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment. - Mentor and guide developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative environment. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and architectural standards. - Assist project managers in estimating timelines, identifying risks, and resolving technical challenges. - Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility of requirements. - Translate business requirements into technical solutions and effectively communicate the architecture to non-technical stakeholders. Qualification Required: - Minimum 8 years of experience in App backend coding. - Hands-on experience with Node.js, server management, and product knowledge. - Strong technical background and problem-solving skills. - Passion for mentoring and guiding development teams. - Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. - Immediate availability for joining. Additional Details: The company is in a cost-cutting mode due to market conditions but promises potential salary hikes for the right team members post-fund raising. The current salary offered is 10 lacs, which may increase to a range of 18-24 lacs after the fund raise. Working hours are 5 days a week, with the possibility of extra work during app launches.
