Tech Lead (Backend JavaScript)

As a JavaScript - Technical Architect at this small startup, you will be pivotal in leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance web applications. Your proficiency in Node.js, server management, and product knowledge, backed by a minimum of 8 years of experience in app backend coding, will be indispensable for this role. We are seeking an individual who excels not only in coding but also in mentoring and guiding development teams. - Define, design, and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures for full-stack JavaScript applications. - Lead the technical design of APIs, data models, microservices, and front-end architectures. - Evaluate and recommend modern tools, libraries, and frameworks that align with business needs. - Write clean, modular, and high-quality code for both front-end and back-end systems. - Implement best practices in software development, encompassing coding standards, testing, and automation. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment processes. - Mentor and guide developers, offering technical leadership and fostering a collaborative team environment. - Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding and architectural standards. - Aid project managers in estimating timelines, identifying risks, and resolving technical obstacles. - Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to validate technical feasibility. - Translate business requirements into technical solutions and effectively communicate the architecture to non-technical stakeholders. You will be expected to work 5 days a week, with the potential for additional hours due to an impending app launch. The initial salary offered is 10 lacs, with a subsequent revision to a range of 18 lacs to 24 lacs post fundraising. While we are presently in a cost-cutting phase, all deserving team members will receive a raise once funding is secured. Immediate joining is mandatory.
