The role will require you to have a user-centric mindset, where understanding customer needs and staying updated with customer insights is crucial. You should be able to translate user feedback into actionable insights for product development. Additionally, you will need to possess the capability to define both long-term strategy and quarterly roadmap to achieve the product vision, emphasizing product enhancement with a problem-first, data-driven, and test & iterate approach. A strong understanding of the product development life cycle is essential, encompassing the stages from concept to market launch and beyond. You should also be a self-starter in ecosystem collaboration, working closely with ecosystem players to co-build products and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new card products. Fostering relationships with key stakeholders within the organization to ensure smooth product development is also a key responsibility. Furthermore, you should have a strong knowledge of engineering practices in product development using Agile/Scrum principles and be adept at data-driven decision-making. Using data and analytics to guide decisions about product development, enhancement, and overall product strategy will be one of your main responsibilities. The ideal candidate is expected to have 2-5 years of experience in Product Management, along with an MBA from top schools such as IIMs, ISB, FMS, MDI, etc. A technical background is preferred. Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Excel, and SQL is required. A passion for understanding customer needs and a demonstrated ability to build digital products are highly valued. You should be able to think strategically while also being comfortable diving into the details necessary for successful execution.
