Role Overview We are seeking a highly driven Technical Sales Engineer to manage and grow gearbox sales across India. The role demands strong technical expertise in industrial gearboxes, customer engagement, and solution-based selling. The candidate will serve as the key interface between Indian industrial customers and our Finland-based OEM partner, ensuring business growth, customer satisfaction, and technical support. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Drive sales of industrial gearboxes across India by identifying, developing, and closing new opportunities. Manage relationships with OEMs, end-users, and channel partners in the manufacturing sector. Provide technical consultation to customers, including gearbox sizing, selection, and application engineering. Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and technical training for customers. Collaborate with the OEM in Finland for technical clarifications, proposals, and project execution. Work closely with the service team to ensure after-sales support and customer satisfaction. Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and commercial negotiations. Travel extensively across India to meet customers, attend industry events, and strengthen market presence. Track sales performance, prepare reports, and forecast demand in alignment with business goals. ⸻ Candidate Profile Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (preferred). Experience: 2–4 years of technical sales experience in industrial gearboxes, drives, or power transmission products. Strong knowledge of gearbox applications in manufacturing industries. Proven track record in B2B industrial sales and customer management. Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Willingness to travel extensively across India.
