Role & Responsibilities Product Development Design, develop, and test firmware for electronic systems that meet performance and reliability standards. Optimize embedded algorithms for control systems, signal processing, and data analysis. Collaboration & Execution Work closely with hardware engineers on firmware/hardware co-design and interface specifications. Coordinate with product managers to define project scopes, timelines, and delivery milestones. Debugging & Integration Lead firmware-level debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex issues. Collaborate with software developers to integrate firmware with applications and cloud platforms. Documentation & Process Maintain comprehensive documentation: design specs, test plans, firmware updates, and release notes. Ensure QA through unit testing, validation, and continuous integration best practices. Mentorship & Innovation Foster a collaborative team culture rooted in curiosity, learning, and innovation. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to ongoing improvements in R&D practices. Technical Requirements Programming & Tools Proficiency in C, C++, Embedded C, and register-level programming (Highly Recommended). Experience with development frameworks: ESP-IDF, Arduino, STM32CubeIDE . Knowledge of embedded protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, RS485, CAN (optional). Familiarity with wireless protocols: MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, BLE, Wi-Fi, Cellular. Comfort with tools like VSCode, PlatformIO, Eclipse, cmake, and OpenCPU (Highly Recommended). Working knowledge of RTOS: FreeRTOS or POSIX systems. Systems & Engineering Experience with microcontrollers: ESP32, ATmega328, STM32F1/F3/F4, MSP430. Hardware-firmware co-design understanding is a strong plus. Knowledge of hardware testing, DFM principles, and debugging tools. Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in firmware development. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving ability. Ability to deliver under deadlines and manage complex projects end-to-end.
