Team Leader Product Development

The Product Development department in Bengaluru is looking for a qualified candidate with a BE in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Computer Science and 6 to 10 years of experience in Machine Vision, 3C, Consumer Electronics, or Industrial Automation industries. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems for the 3C industries. Your role will involve leading the development of the machine vision components of advanced AOI systems, including both hardware and software. You will need to develop detailed project plans to ensure timely product launches and provide technical guidance to engineers on image processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning algorithms used in AOI applications. Collaboration with hardware suppliers to integrate optical components like cameras, lenses, and lighting systems optimally will also be a part of your responsibilities. Writing and optimizing codes for DL / ML based AOI system software to ensure real-time performance and accuracy is crucial. Your role will also involve identifying and mitigating potential project risks and challenges to ensure deliverables" successful completion. Other responsibilities include developing user interfaces and tools for configuring, controlling, and monitoring AOI systems, evaluating new technologies, building prototypes and PoC systems, and collaborating with the senior leadership team to establish and execute product launch strategies aligned with organizational goals. You will be responsible for product validations, change management, manufacturing feasibility studies, and product cost optimization. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical engineers, Control system Engineers, Software developers, quality assurance, manufacturing, and customer support, is essential to ensure the seamless integration of AOI systems. Stakeholder management with product developers, Sales & marketing team, Technology partners, suppliers, and customers is also a key aspect of the role. Experience in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria accurately along with building AOI machines for the Consumer electronics industry would be considered an added advantage.
