Team Lead (PHP)

The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality PHP-based web applications. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices. Collaborating with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to integrate user-facing components with back-end logic will be a key part of your role. You should have experience working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel (primary), Symfony, or CodeIgniter. As a key member of the team, you will define project goals, create detailed development plans, assign tasks, and monitor execution. Effective communication with internal stakeholders and clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations will be crucial. Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers to maintain quality and consistency will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in PHP (Laravel) and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. You must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Laravel-based development and hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX is required, along with experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git, is necessary. An understanding of web application security best practices and performance optimization is expected. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Prior experience in leading teams and managing projects, preferably in an Agile environment, will be an advantage. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and in-person work location.,
