Team Lead, Engineering

Role Overview: As a technical leader at CyberArk, you will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership to a group of backend and frontend developers and QA engineers. Your role will involve staying updated with technological trends, motivating engineers to utilize cutting-edge technology, providing technical and architectural guidance for the development of the Identity Security Platform, and ensuring software development cycles focus on code quality, supportability, scalability, and performance. Additionally, you will mentor and coach engineers, manage career growth, collaborate with other teams, and engage with customers for product enhancements. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical leadership to backend and frontend developers and QA engineers - Stay updated with technological trends and motivate engineers to leverage best-in-class technology - Provide technical and architectural guidance for the Identity Security Platform - Participate in software development cycles focusing on code quality, supportability, scalability, and performance - Mentor and coach engineers, ensuring adherence to engineering practices and security coding guidelines - Manage career growth of engineers - Collaborate with other teams, Product Management, and field professionals for continuous product enhancements - Interface with Support team for customer escalation issues and product issue diagnosis and resolution - Assist in hiring processes for engineering roles Qualification Required: - BE / B Tech /MCA or equivalent qualification - 10+ years hands-on experience in designing and developing enterprise software - Experience in cloud-based solutions, with AWS experience being a plus - Minimum of 3 years experience leading a software development team - Expertise in Python or React, with AWS Serverless architecture experience preferred - Good understanding of security best practices - Familiarity with Agile, TDD, test methodologies, and automation testing frameworks - Experience in Requirement/Design/Code Review & Inspections practices - Strong written and oral communication skills, along with interpersonal skills - Ability to handle ambiguity, collaborate across disciplines, manage multiple tasks, and influence without authority - Excellent problem resolution, judgment, negotiation, and decision-making skills - Strategic thinking, leadership skills, and ability to assimilate new information rapidly,
