R-Shiny Development Leader (7 plus years of experience in R/R-Shiny application development and leadership role with experience in TEAL-based Shiny application) We are seeking an experienced R Package Development Leader to join our global team in the pharmaceutical industry. R remains a cornerstone in statistical and analytical methods and innovation, and we require an experienced R development leader who can help us build, maintain, and improve our R packages and applications. We are seeking an individual who is experienced in working on clinical trial datasets and TEAL-based Shiny applications. Required Skill Set - Strong documented experience in R package and R/Shiny apps development in line with industry best practices around documentation, testing, and modularization Strong working experience with Tidyverse packages and Tidy principle Comfort with SQL databases Knowledge of DevOps, CICD, and GitHub Hands-on working experience with TEAL package based Shiny development . Working experience with CDISC (Clinical Data Standards) data or NCA/Certara Phoenix datasets Teal experience should cover general modules as well as Clinical (Dealing with clinical trial data reporting), and Hermes (For analysing MultiAssayExperiment objects). Experience of widget development Good to have experience in developing reports using TEAL reporter Being able to understand solution architecture and role of involved software components to implement R Shiny apps Working knowledge on back-end integration via APIs (REST, JSON over HTTP, etc.) Experience with collaborative API design flows Experience in debugging, testing, and optimizing Shiny applications and then publishing these to the internal company repository Ability to embed automatic testing into the development cycle Experience of using GitHub for version control, branch/merge/PR strategies for R projects Ability to contribute new ideas and approaches to improve our R packages and applications Inclination to stay up to date with the latest R packages and developments within the pharma industry. Experience in building or working on Pharmaverse applications (eg. admiral, logrx, metacore, metatools, etc.)
