Job Title:

  • Teaching Assistant Online Education Department

Job Summary:

The Teaching Assistant (TA) will support faculty and students in delivering seamless and engaging online learning experiences. This includes academic support, managing LMS tasks, communication with learners, and coordinating with guest/visiting faculty. The TA serves as a key academic and operational link between students, faculty, and the administration in the online education ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic & Exam Support

  • Upload and manage

    exam question papers

    on the LMS securely and timely.
  • Assist in

    exam data management

    (student data, exam schedules, Marks updates).
  • Ensure timely collection of question papers form visiting faculties.
  • Support in

    quiz/assignment scheduling, feedback collection, and result uploading

    .
  • Help maintain academic discipline and ensure

    compliance with exam protocols

    .

Live Session Coordination & Monitoring

  • Coordinate and monitor

    live sessions

    for both internal and external faculties.
  • Ensure

    timely session starts

    , attendance tracking, technical checks, and learner engagement.
  • Observe live sessions timely (watch”) to ensure delivery quality, learner interaction, and policy compliance.
  • Maintain records of

    session recordings and links

    ; ensure timely sharing on LMS.
  • Full time duty on week-ends.

Faculty Coordination & Communication

  • Handle

    onboarding and induction emails

    for guest/visiting/internal faculty.
  • Share teaching schedules, LMS credentials, and resources.
  • Coordinate

    course content, assessment sharing, and session updates

    with all faculty.
  • Communicate important academic notices via email or LMS announcements.

Course & Content Management

  • E-Governance (Live Session Report) & connect with faculty, if required.
  • Ensure timely pasting of

    session/recording links

    for student access.

Learner Communication & Support

  • Timely resolution of learner queries via

    email discussion forums, or LMS messages

    .
  • Provide guidance on academic procedures, assessments, and access issues.
  • Share timely

    reminders, updates, and help resources

    .

Discussion Forum & Community Management

  • Maintain active

    discussion forums

    for academic interaction.
  • Moderate conversations, post FAQs, and assist in

    doubt resolution

    .
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the concerned faculty or department.

Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain logs of

    attendance, session delivery, and faculty participation

    .
  • Monitor live sessions for

    policy compliance and teaching quality

    .
  • Support the

    preparation of E-Governance reports

    and academic audit documents
