As a Senior Software Engineer in Test for Financial Crime Solutions (Crypto) at our company, you will be a crucial part of the Crypto Secure team, dedicated to preventing fraud and developing cutting-edge technology. We prioritize quality at every stage of development, embedding it into our processes and ensuring a robust and scalable automation strategy. Your role will involve leading quality and test automation efforts, where you will own and enhance our test automation strategy to seamlessly integrate into our CI/CD pipeline. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated tests using tools like Cypress, Java, RestAssured, JMeter, and SQL. Additionally, you will champion shift-left testing practices and ensure comprehensive a11y testing compliance. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with Agile teams, developers, PM-Ts, and designers to deliver high-quality software. Your responsibilities will include challenging requirements, identifying risks early on, and tracking quality metrics to enhance testing effectiveness. Mentoring and influencing will also be a significant aspect of your role, where you will guide developers and Quality Engineers on best practices for test automation and clean coding principles. You will lead discussions on continuous improvement of test strategies and tools, setting an example by coaching team members on writing reliable and maintainable automated tests. To excel in this position, you should have at least 5 years of experience in test automation and software quality engineering, proficiency in Java, API automation skills using RestAssured, UI automation experience with tools like Cypress, strong knowledge of performance testing with JMeter, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Your proactive and communicative nature, coupled with a passion for automation and problem-solving skills, will be invaluable in driving the quality and efficiency of our testing processes.
