We are currently looking for a talented System Engineer with a strong background in Python and OSIsoft PI. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and upkeep of OSIsoft PI infrastructure, while also crafting and executing software solutions in Python to enhance system performance and reliability. Responsibilities include planning and executing application changes within a structured release process, overseeing a team of developers, and establishing software development processes and standards. As a System Engineer at CereBulb, your duties will involve managing automation-related engineering services based on customer requirements, ensuring documentation adherence to best practices, carrying out data management and operational tasks, fostering collaboration across processing units and support teams, providing high-level support including fault diagnosis, and keeping track of system updates and changes. Additionally, you will be responsible for enhancing system configuration, writing Python analytics using Power BI and OSIsoft PI, creating new Notifications or Process Book Displays, and serving as a PI Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist users. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a minimum of 2 years of experience with Python and OSIsoft PI, strong knowledge of networks, hardware/software, and TCP/IP protocol, understanding of network security principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, familiarity with Power BI and SaaS tools, as well as expertise in logic implementation. In addition to technical skills, we value non-technical qualities such as strong verbal and written communication, the ability to quickly grasp new technologies, self-motivation, a commitment to excellence, and a positive attitude towards customer interaction. This position falls under the category of Technical and is a Full-time role suited for individuals at the Mid-Senior level.
