As a Server Administrator at NTT DATA, you will have the opportunity to join a company that is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Your responsibilities will include managing enterprise-level servers, both Linux and Windows, with a total of 5-7 years of experience in server administration. You will be expected to demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting various server-level issues, providing support in patch management and security operations, and collaborating with the network team to resolve server-side network-related issues. Additionally, you will be involved in cluster configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting, as well as monitoring server performance and capacity. To excel in this role, you should possess a degree in BE/B.Tech/MCA in IT/Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electronics or a related field, along with certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Microsoft Certified Server Administrator (MCSA). Proficiency in technology knowledge areas such as RedHat Linux, Active Directory & Domain Knowledge, TCP/IP Connection, DR & BCP, and Performance Monitoring & Management will be essential. Furthermore, familiarity with server hardware from HP, Dell, Cisco UCS, multiple operating systems, storage, cluster monitoring, and network and DNS understanding will be advantageous. In addition to your technical skills, effective communication and escalation management abilities will be crucial for collaborating internally, within NSEIL, and with OEM partners. Your hands-on experience and strong foundational knowledge in server administration and basic networking skills will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning and security of the server environment.
