Project Role : Operations Engineer Project Role Description : Support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. Must have skills : Wireless Technologies Operations, wireless and meraki Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreements. Your typical day will involve monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery. You will engage in proactive problem-solving and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, ensuring that all systems run efficiently and effectively to meet organizational goals. Plays critical role in providing an exceptional support to the client critical network environment and good team player in the operations team. Responsibilities: Really good communication skills Strong troubleshooting skills for Routing and switching along with wireless issues. Must have hands on experience on Wi-Fi , Site Survey , Heat map generation and Networking and experience. Strong troubleshooting skills on SSID, WLC & understanding of Meraki Template. Wireless : CWNA, CWNP, CCNA Wireless certification Hands on Experience on Cisco WLC, Meraki Dashboard and Wireless Access Points Strong knowledge of TCP, IPv4 and IPv6, and common protocol operations Knowledge of stateful packet inspection, VPNs and ACLs, DNS, DHCP, HSRP Extensive experience with OSPF, BGP and EIGRP Extensive experience with Layer 2 protocols and associated enhancements (LACP, L2 ECMP, 802.1dws , 802.1x , etc.) required Ability to work with the teams, should have experience in driving network proactive problem management, availability, and capacity management process. Excellent analytical skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision. Design and maintain Cisco ISE platforms in conjunction with internal and 3rd party support teams. Develop and/or integrate applications into the Cisco ISE environment as required by the business. Provide technical expertise throughout the software lifecycle including design, implementation, and delivery. Cisco ISE AAA. Cisco ACS RADIUS and TACACS experience. Good to have experience in Cisco DNAC. What you have: Bachelors degree in information technology related field of study with a network/software engineering Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. LAN and WAN experience Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols Good to have experience on Cisco DNAC and ISE. Wireless: CWNA, SWNP, CCNA, wireless certification.
