Key Accountabilities: Network Infrastructure Management: Design, configure, and deploy local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks. Implement and maintain network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, access points, and other networking devices. Monitor network performance and ensure optimal utilization of network resources. Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to accommodate the company's growing needs. Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls. Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies and standards. Respond to security incidents and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and prevent unauthorized access. Network Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues reported by end-users or detected through monitoring tools. Collaborate with the IT support team to provide timely resolution to network-related user problems. Perform root cause analysis for complex network problems and implement permanent solutions. Network Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor network performance, traffic, and usage patterns to proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks or performance issues. Optimize network configurations to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Implement Quality of Service (QoS) mechanisms to prioritize critical applications and services. Phone system setup: Cisco call / Ring central Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures. Prepare regular reports on network performance, security, and maintenance activities for management.

Youll be Responsible for? Design, implement, and maintain network architectures, including LAN, WAN, MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud networks. Configure and troubleshoot enterprise-grade network devices such as Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and F5 load balancers. Implement advanced network security measures, including Zero Trust architecture, Micro segmentation, and SIEM integration. Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to design and deploy cloud-based networking solutions in Azure. Conduct network capacity planning and traffic analysis using tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, and NetFlow analyzers. Develop and maintain network automation scripts using Python, Ansible, or Terraform. Provide technical leadership in incident response, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery planning. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS. Maintain detailed network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures. Lead and mentor junior network engineers and provide training on emerging network technologies. Youd have? Proficiency in network automation and scripting using Python, Bash, Ansible, and Terraform. Familiarity with SDN technologies, including Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, and OpenFlow. Hands-on experience with wireless networking solutions, including Cisco Meraki, Aruba, and RADIUS authentication. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for diagnosing complex network issues.
