Description
The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in software engineering, specifically in developing embedded systems, and possess a solid understanding of railway signalling and control systems. You must also demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to excel in this position. Responsibilities Architecture, design, and develop software for TCMS systems, encompassing communication protocols, control algorithms, and safety systems. Participate in the development of system architecture and design, ensuring that the software meets functional and nonfunctional requirements like performance, scalability, and safety. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and test engineers to ensure proper integration and testing of the software. Provide technical leadership and guidance to fellow software engineers within the team. Review and analyze system requirements, translating them into software design and development tasks. Offer technical support to other teams such as customer support and field service to address any software-related issues. Possess strong experience in IEC61131 programming language. Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high-quality software that meets industry standards. Engage in the software development life cycle, from requirement analysis, design, development, testing, to maintenance. Ensure that the software development adheres to relevant standards and regulations like CENELEC, EN50126, and EN50128. Qualifications MTech/ BTech/ BE degree, preferably in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation. Experience 12 to 20 years of experience in the field. Joining Immediate to 1-month notice period is preferred.,
