Restaurant Cashier Job Description The Bread Theory, Bangalore Position: Cashier Location: Bangalore, Karnataka Restaurant Type: Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) - Bakery & Bread Specialty Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team at The Bread Theory, Bangalore's premier bread and bakery QSR. The ideal candidate will handle customer transactions efficiently while delivering exceptional service in our fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate PetPooja POS system for order processing and billing Handle cash, card, UPI, and digital wallet transactions accurately Take customer orders for fresh bread, bakery items, and beverages Provide product information and recommendations to customers Process online orders through delivery platforms (Zomato, Swiggy, etc.) Maintain accurate cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation Ensure cleanliness of cashier counter and display areas Coordinate with kitchen staff for order fulfillment Handle customer queries and complaints professionally Follow food safety and hygiene standards Required Skills & Qualifications: Must have experience with PetPooja POS system Strong numerical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Kannada Previous experience in QSR/restaurant cashier role preferred Basic computer literacy and smartphone operation Customer service oriented with pleasant demeanor Ability to work efficiently during peak hours Work Requirements: 10+2 education minimum 1-2 years cashier experience in food service industry Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and festivals Physical ability to stand for extended periods What We Offer: Competitive salary: ₹18,000 - ₹22,000 per month Performance-based incentives Staff meals and employee discounts Growth opportunities within our expanding QSR chain
