Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Good understanding and knowledge of GST law
Preparation and finalization of input register, output register, RCM register by verifying invoices.
Completion of accurate tax returns with reconciliation with books of accounts, which helps minimize the tax obligations.
Good understanding and knowledge of 2A/2B reconciliations
Finalization of GST returns, initiating GST payment
Identification of tax risks and follow up with vendors on GST non compliance
Ensuring GST compliances as per GST Act.
Preparation and passing required tax entries and ensuring tax entries are flowing in correct GL.
Coordinating with other teams for necessary tax entries.
Supporting audit and litigations.
Act as the key point of contact and support for our local and regional taxation matters
Preparation of required schedules as per management requirement and timeline.

Qualifications: B.com / MBA in finance / CMA

Experience:

Functional Skills:

Knowledge on GST
VAT Assessments, GST return filing, and other matters relate with GST Act
Should be flexible to handle other finance matters as per the requirement of management
Should be good at external liaising and drafting skills
Excel, Word & Power Point, SAP Knowledge is necessary
Should be a quick learner
Should be ready to take new challenges
Should be ready to take additional responsibilities
Should be a street smarter
