The Tax Analyst 1 is a trainee professional role requiring a good knowledge of processes, procedures, and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks. Responsibilities include: - 2 to 5 years of experience in the Taxing domain. - Hands-on working experience in Tax Form validation. - Working knowledge of FATCA & CRS is beneficial. - Managing tax liabilities of Citi, including compliance, financial reporting, planning, and controversy processes. - Contributing to planning, accounting, filing, and reporting of the company's tax liability. - Assisting in compiling information for income tax filing and related requirements. - Directing small to medium-sized Finance operational/administrative teams. - Advising on procedures and concepts in the technical/subject area. - Improving process efficiencies and applying policies to the business. - Performing other assigned duties and functions. - Assessing risk appropriately in business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
