Job Description

As a Tax Compliance Specialist at Siemens Healthineers India LLP, your main responsibility will be managing the Indirect tax (GST) compliances of Indian entities from the APAC Tax Hub in Bangalore. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the tax processes are carried out efficiently and accurately. Your operational responsibilities will include handling key Tax Compliance processes in the Tax Hub such as retrieving data, applying checks and balances for data integrity, preparing draft tax computations and returns, tax reconciliation, accounting, and tax filing. You will also be responsible for collating data for annual return/audit under indirect tax laws, maintaining documents and working papers for various tax concessions and claims, and assisting the audit team in data preparation for assessments/audits. Additionally, you will be expected to respond to routine queries from the business team, assist in tax planning and structuring, and conduct trend/data analysis to identify deviations and trends. Your expertise in automation and transformation will be valuable, with a strong working knowledge of SAP functionalities and reports used for tax filings. To qualify for this role, you should have a CA Intermediate/M.com qualification with 3-4 years of experience in tax compliance and reporting. You should have a good understanding of tax compliances, preparation, and filing of tax returns, especially in the area of indirect taxes. Experience working in a centralized environment of tax compliance and advisory, proficiency in Excel, and excellent communication skills are essential for this position.
