Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Operations Associate to manage day-to-day tax compliance and reporting activities. The role involves handling GST, TDS/TCS, and Income Tax filings while ensuring adherence to statutory deadlines and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in tax operations and strong coordination skills to work with consultants, auditors, and tax authorities.

Relevant Experience (Shortlisting Criteria)

• Minimum 6 months of experience in tax operations, accounting, or compliance
• Hands-on exposure to GST, TDS/TCS, and Income Tax filings
• Experience working with Form 16 / 16A, TRACES, and tax reconciliations
• Prior experience handling tax notices, assessments, or audit support
• Exposure to financial services, broking, or investment firms preferred

Key Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws and regulations
• Expertise in GST, TDS/TCS compliance
• Tax computation and reconciliation skills
• Documentation management and audit handling
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial data analysis
• High attention to statutory deadlines and accuracy
• Ability to coordinate with consultants and tax authorities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS/TCS, and Income Tax returns
• Prepare tax computations, workings, and reconciliations
• Assist during statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews
• Handle tax notices, assessments, and departmental queries
• Monitor updates in tax laws and ensure adherence to internal SOPs
• Maintain audit-ready records, registers, and MIS reports
