Tax Compliance Associate

The job is located in Chakan, Pune and is expected to last for 2.5 to 3 months on a contract basis with a salary of up to 2.40 LPA. As part of the role, you will be responsible for verifying employees" investment proofs for tax exemption claims, ensuring compliance with income tax regulations and company policies, and maintaining accurate records and documentation for audit purposes. You will also need to communicate with employees for clarifications, additional documents, or corrections, assist in resolving discrepancies related to investment declarations, and stay updated with tax laws and regulatory changes impacting employee investments. To qualify for this position, you should have an educational background in B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification. You must possess a strong knowledge of Income Tax Act provisions related to investment declarations, proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software, excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, good communication skills to interact with employees and internal teams, and the ability to work under deadlines during tax-proof submission periods.
