As a Tax Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end tax compliance activities for both direct and indirect taxes. Your key duties will include ensuring timely and accurate filings in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will review business transactions to determine the applicability of GST and other indirect tax provisions, ensuring the correct implementation of tax positions. Additionally, you will provide technical support to the Direct Tax team on various matters such as TDS applicability, income tax return preparation, tax assessments, appeals, and departmental proceedings. Your role will involve identifying and proactively addressing potential tax risks, interpreting ambiguities in tax positions, and developing practical mitigation strategies. You will oversee the management and resolution of tax assessments, audits, and inquiries under the GST regime and legacy indirect tax laws. Your responsibilities will also include conducting year-end tax accrual analysis, supporting the preparation of tax provisions for financial reporting, and preparing comprehensive tax workpapers for inclusion in the Annual Financial Statements. Furthermore, you will deliver advisory support on cross-border taxation issues, including analysis of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA), international tax planning, and transfer pricing considerations. You will assist in FEMA compliance related to foreign transactions, investments, repatriations, and capital account operations, in coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Your role will involve supporting valuation analysis for tax and regulatory purposes, including transaction structuring, related-party transactions, and business reorganizations. You will provide tax inputs for contract reviews, pricing models, and structuring of new business opportunities, evaluating the tax impact on contract renewals, scope changes, and cross-border arrangements. Additionally, you should have the ability to lead a team of 5 people effectively. Desired Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified CA with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, with exposure to taxation during articleship - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in MS Office Suite and software such as Tally, Computax, Genius, etc. - Strong interpersonal and client management skills This role offers a challenging opportunity to manage tax compliance, provide technical support, and deliver advisory services on various taxation matters, making it an ideal position for a qualified CA with relevant experience and skills.,
