Tax Analyst 3

The Tax Analyst 3 is responsible for the preparation of tax returns, handling tax inquiries, and preparing for tax audits. Your main responsibilities include preparing and/or reviewing transaction tax returns for monthly, quarterly, and annual filings. You will research and identify transaction tax issues, provide guidance to internal departments and customers, and ensure compliance with state, local, and international tax regulations. Additionally, you will research tax laws, make recommendations for procedural changes, assist with tax audits, reconcile tax general ledger accounts, and develop continuous tax process improvements. You may also provide guidance to other team members, prepare internal memoranda, and ensure that all work papers and tax returns adhere to department policy. To be successful in this role, you should possess a qualification such as CA/CA Inter/ACCA/M.COM/CMA/B.COM in Accounting and have over 5 years of experience in preparing and reviewing direct and indirect tax returns. You should be proficient in calculating and recording tax journal entries, have extensive experience in tax compliance and audits, and be familiar with international taxation. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as experience with Workday, Avalara, or OneSource is required. Good oral and written communication skills, discretion, tact, self-direction, project management abilities, flexibility, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and dedication to professional growth are essential for this role.
