As a US Tax Manager at A (CPA) Certified Public Accounting and business advisory firm in Mumbai, you will be responsible for reviewing tax returns for Partnerships, Corporations, Individuals, and other areas such as Estate and Gift, Trusts, Non-profits, W-2s, and 1099s. Your role will involve preparing complex tax returns in the aforementioned areas, communicating with clients and Project CREs to gather necessary information, and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the returns. Additionally, you will be expected to review tax accruals, attend meetings with auditors on tax issues, and manage client relationships by monitoring their needs and enhancing the value of professional services provided. You will also be tasked with handling communication with clients, the IRS, and other business professionals as required, evaluating alternative solutions to client problems, conducting tax research, and participating in special projects. In this position, you will leverage your 7+ years of experience in preparing and/or reviewing US tax returns with a Shared Services or Consulting CPA Firm in India, including 1+ years of managerial experience in overseeing staff engaged in tax preparation and review. It is essential that you hold a Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or EA, along with a graduate degree in Accounting or Finance. A post-graduate qualification in these disciplines would be advantageous. As a proactive professional with a keen interest in US taxation, you will stay updated on the evolving regulations and policies within the tax industry. Your problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and aptitude for identifying issues and proposing effective solutions will be key assets in this role. Moreover, your commitment to supporting and leading a team of high-performing individuals, coupled with your exposure to various industries in US tax returns, will be highly valued. If you possess knowledge of CCH Access Tax and CCH Engagement software, it would be considered a strong asset.
