The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of TDS , GST , inventory management , and billing processes . This role requires accuracy, time management, and a proactive approach to daily financial operations. Key Responsibilities : Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) computation, deduction, deposit, and return filing. Manage GST compliance including input/output reconciliation, return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.), and audits. Oversee inventory management : recording stock movements, maintaining stock levels, and coordinating with warehouse or production. Perform billing and invoicing : generate and process customer and vendor bills, ensure timely follow-up on payments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks etc.). Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support internal and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation. Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts. Required Qualifications and Skills : Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in accounting with hands-on exposure to TDS , GST , inventory , and billing . Proficient in accounting software (Tally ERP9, MS Excel, etc.). Good understanding of Indian taxation laws and compliance requirements. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities. Preferred : Experience in a manufacturing or trading company. Knowledge of e-invoicing and GST e-way bill generation.
