Your Role Creating and managing users, roles, and databases within the Teradata environment, including granting and revoking permissions. Implementing and enforcing security policies, managing user access, and protecting sensitive data. Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing queries and system configuration to ensure optimal performance. Implementing and managing backup and recovery procedures to protect data from loss or corruption. Utilizing Teradata utilities like BTEQ, FastLoad, and TPump for data loading, unloading, and other administrative tasks Your Profile 4-12 years of experience on Teradata DBA (70%); SQL (20 %); Scripting/Python (10%) Datastage; Gitlab/Github; Agile MethodlogiesJD- DBA tasks (config and DDL operations) Incident handling that require DBA follow-up; Non-automated access request Monitoring; Workload tuning (TASM)/SQL optimization/System Improvement Plans Follow-up of DNB specific workload/reporting events Modernization from VantageCloud Enterprise to VantageCloud Lake Lead 24/7 OnCall Mandatory to work 5 days from the ODC.(Hinjewadi-Pune) What will you love working at Capgemini Keeping up with the latest Teradata features, best practices, and security updates.
