You will be responsible for leading the development of Python-based applications in Pune with 6-8 years of experience. Your role will involve designing and implementing complex application features and backend services to ensure high performance and scalability. Collaborating with stakeholders to define system requirements and specifications will be essential, along with optimizing performance, scalability, and security of the applications. Managing data integration and handling large datasets efficiently will also be part of your responsibilities. As a lead developer, you will conduct code reviews, contribute to improving coding practices, and mentor junior developers. Developing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests will be crucial for ensuring the quality of the applications. You will also collaborate with DevOps teams for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and cloud deployments. To excel in this role, you should have strong experience in Python and related libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Celery. Extensive experience with web frameworks like Django or Flask is required, along with in-depth knowledge of RESTful API design and development. Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or others is essential. Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is necessary, as well as hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture. Familiarity with asynchronous programming and task queues (e.g., Celery, RabbitMQ), a strong understanding of software design patterns and architecture, and the ability to lead technical discussions and make architectural decisions are also key skills required for this role.
