TAS Engineer

Role Overview: You will be working as an Engineer, AS in Bangalore, VTP. Your primary responsibilities will include building and supporting applications as a full stack developer using Java, React, Angular, microservices, and SQL. You will be involved in end-to-end technical design, development, stabilization, and enhancement of distributed applications. Collaborating with architects, business analysts, developers, and SCRUM masters to deliver suitable solutions that meet business needs will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will need to have a good understanding of Kafka and other messaging platforms, as well as GCP experience to help onboard apps to GCP. Ensuring high-quality standards of deliverables according to industry standards and best practices will be crucial. You will also be responsible for preparing project-related documentation, providing support on compliance and audit checks, and ensuring that compliance and audit policies are strictly followed. Working in a multicultural environment and adapting to different cultures will also be expected. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development as a full stack developer using Java, Microservices, and React primarily. - Review code and provide assistance to the team. - Integrate with CI/CD pipeline, Sonar scan, and ensure unit test coverage. - Have hands-on experience with various technologies and lead the team on technical architecture. - Collaborate with global stakeholders and business partners for application/product delivery. - Groom and lead the team with strong technical, programming, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. - Establish a strong engineering culture within the team with CI/CD, Sonar scans, and one-click deployments. - Provide Level 3 production support, change management for assigned applications, diagnose/triage/resolve production incidents, and work with vendor products within the Bank. - Assist with hiring activities and talent management. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with technologies such as Java and React JS primarily, with knowledge of Springboot, Kafka, Cloud, DevOps, and unit testing tools like JUnit. - Strong agile skills in running app Dev and DevOps. - Expertise in build tools such as Jenkins, Git, TeamCity, GitHub Actions. - Functional expertise working in a financial bank domain would be a huge benefit. - Strong team player who can work under pressure, independently, and proactively while balancing competing priorities to achieve results on complex new development and integrations.
