Monitor treatment response and manage therapy-related complications. Guide patients and families through cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options. Keep accurate clinical records and contribute to clinical audits and research initiatives. Key Responsibilities – Surgical Oncologist Perform organ-specific cancer surgeries: GI, breast, head & neck, urology, gynecology, etc. Conduct pre-operative assessments and postoperative care. Use minimally invasive, laparoscopic, or robotic techniques where appropriate. Collaborate with medical and radiation oncologists for comprehensive treatment plans. Maintain high standards in cancer resection, reconstruction, and patient safety. Contribute to tumor boards and case discussions.
