As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Swan Solutions, you will play a crucial role in managing the Tanzu platform and Kubernetes Platform. Your responsibilities will include hands-on troubleshooting knowledge in Container/Dockers/Kubernetes Platform and PAAS Services. You will be expected to troubleshoot issues related to the containerization platform and IaaS as well as PaaS services. Additionally, you will handle calls related to DevSecOps/CICD and SRE practices. One of your key responsibilities will be to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, and documents outlining best practices for Container platforms, VMware Tanzu, and the related VMware stack. You will also be responsible for creating knowledge base articles to facilitate easy access to information for the team. In this role, you will need to handle escalations and critical business requirements to ensure the seamless implementation, continuity, and restoration of services. It is desired that you have hands-on experience with the VMware platform of vSphere, vSAN Storage, and NSX. Furthermore, you will be expected to devise preventive processes and automation to prevent incidents, bringing innovation to the platform and ensuring optimal utilization of the cloud ecosystem. Maintaining a check on overprovisioning commitment ratios, integrating with backup as a service, ensuring dedupe storage, and stylizing key features of cloud and containerization are all part of the responsibilities associated with this position. Collaboration with the existing vendor team, working directly under the Bank's team and DGM, and studying each application architecture to recommend changes are also essential aspects of the role. To qualify for this position, you should be a graduate with a minimum of 8+ years of experience. Holding certifications such as CKA and VMware Certified Advanced Professional will be an advantage.
