Role & responsibilities Essential Technical Responsibilities: Must-Have Requirements a) Perform Pressure Vessel, Heat Exchanger & Tank Design in line with ASME Sec VIII Div 1, PD 5500, IS 2825, EN 13455, API 660, API 661, API 662, ASME - Sec II, Sec V, Sec IX, Sec X, Sec XIII, API 650, API 620, AWWA D100 Codes and Standards. b) Generate Pressure Vessel Datasheets Data sheets, Configuration Drawings, Fabrication drawings based on Inter Discipline Inputs c) Review Pressure Vessel Fabrication Drawings in line with Code and Client Specifications. d) Develop and Review QAP / ITP, Quality Assurance & Quality Control Documents. e) Proficient in using PV Elite or Compress or Codecalc or Microprotol (AutoPIPE Vessel), ETank Software’s. f) Ability to resolve technical enquiries and comments from clients and fabricators. g) Ability to prudently solve customer issues pertaining to static equipment’s – Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers and Tanks. h) Proficient in material selection based on the process conditions. i) Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems. j) Mentor technical efforts within the team and be responsible for technical excellence, quality, design reviews, and consistency of methods and on-time delivery of design & detailing with quality. k) Able to generate the ideas in simplifying equipment’s & systems l) Well documentation of design and detailing works. m) Institute lessons learned & process improvements in Design and Analysis function. n) The implementation of the Company quality system as per ISO by imbibing QMS system. o) Hands on experience working with engineering consultants. p) Participate as a Presenter or Reviewer in Technical and Program reviews. Good to Have Requirements : a) Awareness and hands on experience on Pipe Stress Analysis and exposure to Caesar II or AutoPIPE Software’s. b) Awareness on rotating equipment’s like Pumps / Compressors / Turbines. c) Experience with plant 3D modelling and drafting software’s like Plant3D, Open Plant, E3D, SP3D. d) Awareness of NACE Standards. e) Site experience in erection support and Field Issue Resolution. Applied Knowledge The individual has the technical ability to carry out medium - large risk projects/tasks with the assistance of experienced engineers. a) The individual has a comprehension of the complete implementation of the project and the resulting outcomes. b) Will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. c) The individual maintains an up-to-date understanding of the various types of systems, equipment, information technology, and specifications that can be used to achieve specific design objectives. d) Should have the skills to work with diverse team of people, be innovative and adopt quickly to new and emerging Technologies.
