Job Description

• preparation and cooking of various dishes in accordance with the standardised recipes and guidelines provided.
• Ensure that all ingredients are properly measured, weighed, and prepared for cooking.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Assist in the mise en place and stock rotation to ensure timely availability of ingredients and minimize wastage.
• Follow food safety procedures and guidelines to ensure safe handling, storage, and preparation of food items.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation and timely service during busy periods.
• Monitor and control the quality of food items prepared to meet the established standards of taste, presentation, and portion size.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Applicants only from Hotel Background will be entertained. Applicants must reside in Kolkata and has to give a trial test.
