The job is based in New Delhi (Hauz Khas) and you will be reporting to the Head of Administration and Operations. This is a contractual position with a yearly renewal. As part of your responsibilities, you will be liaising with banks, implementing internal controls, managing grants effectively, analyzing budget variances in a timely manner, preparing monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, having a good understanding of the FCRA Act and its compliances, being knowledgeable about TDS, GST, and other labor laws, performing bank and cash reconciliations, maintaining the books of accounts, coordinating with internal and external auditors, handling project accounting, ensuring project reporting and compliances including preparation of Utilization Certificates (UCs) and compliance with Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) terms. Additionally, having good email writing skills is essential. To be eligible for this position, you should have a Graduation qualification with a competency in Accounting, Tally 9.0, and a good command over Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in an NGO setting. The remuneration for this role is between 3-3.6 Lakhs per annum.
