Zonal Sales Manager - FMCG (North Karnataka) vijayapura 5 - 10 years INR 10.0 - 12.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven Zonal Sales Manager with a proven track record in FMCG General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) sales. The ideal candidate will have an active distributor network across North Karnataka, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive market expansion through effective distributor management, team building, and execution excellence. Key Responsibilities Distribution Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and appoint distributors across 1014 districts to ensure robust market coverage. Commercial Management: Negotiate and finalize commercial terms, opening orders, and distributor agreements. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage Sales Representatives (SRs) and Territory Sales In-Charges (TSIs) to achieve sales and distribution goals. Market Execution: Develop beat plans to ensure full outlet coverage, share-of-shelf (SOS), and strike rate targets are consistently met. Sales Operations: Draft and implement SOPs for order-to-cash, claims, returns, merchandising, and reporting processes. Trade Marketing: Plan and execute BTL activations, retailer schemes, and in-store visibility initiatives to strengthen brand presence. Business Ownership: Manage sales forecasts, inventory planning, credit control, and ensure P&L discipline across the assigned territory. Candidate Credentials Active FMCG/beverage distributor network in at least 6 districts of North Karnataka. 510 years of FMCG GT/MT sales experience, preferably at ASM or Area Head level. Proven experience in creating and implementing sales SOPs and process improvements. Fluency in Kannada and Hindi/English . Strong entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently and drive results.
