Position: Field Data Collection Executive / Intern Type: Freelance / Part-time / Contract / Internship Location: All over Bangalore Duration: [2–3 months project, extendable] About the Role This is not a road or land survey . We are looking for candidates to carry out door-to-door surveys of houses, shops, schools, hospitals, offices, and other establishments in Bengaluru. Using our Optrack mobile app , you will collect essential details (family size, business type, waste generation, etc.) and upload geo-tagged photos that directly contribute to the city’s Solid Waste Management system. Key Responsibilities Visit assigned households/establishments and collect required details using the mobile application. Record accurate information such as household demographics, waste management practices, property type, etc. Capture GPS location and photographs as proof of survey completion. Meet assigned daily/weekly targets (e.g., 200–300 households/day). Report work status to the field coordinator/supervisor. Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions. Requirements Smartphone (Android) with active internet. Basic knowledge of mobile apps & data entry. Ability to communicate in the local language (Kannada/English as required). Physically fit and willing to travel/walk for data collection. For interns: Must be a current college student (any stream); interest in field work and learning data systems preferred. Compensation & Benefits Freelancers / Part-time / Contract staff: Paid per entry or per block/ward completed (e.g., ■10,000 for 4,000 entries/month, with extra payouts for additional entries).
